Emily “Lee” L. Grape, 83, passed peacefully surrounded by family, on April 26th, 2023 after a brief hospitalization. She is predeceased by her loving husband of over 54 years, G Thomas Grape, and sister Harriet.
She is survived by her three sons Eric, Sean (Linda), and Steven (Katrina), her five grandchildren Thomas, Ian, Kelsey, Hannah, and Laura, her sister Josephine, brother Joe (Barbara) and niece Hillary.
Lee was born in Rochester and was a schoolteacher for the Hilton School District. She loved hosting the family for holiday dinners & birthdays. Lee enjoyed gardening, travel, attending theatre shows with girlfriends, and spending time at “her floating cottage”–the family sailboat. She was a longtime member of Brockport Yacht Club. Her warm personality and readily available laughter will be missed by all.
