Rochester, NY: Enelia died in her home on April 6, 2016 at the age of 77. She was born on January 10, 1939 in Cali, Colombia, daughter of Isaias and Evangelina Aros. Enelia was a nurse and spent much of her life caring for others. Enelia married Cesar Cifuentes at a young age, and after his passing she moved to Rochester, New York where she later married Thomas Spaulding. She and Tommy spent many happy years together and traveled the country as much as possible before his passing in 2002. After his death, Enelia continued to travel with her sisters, and her friends from the Henrietta Senior Center.
She is survived by: her siblings; Noelba Barreiro, Chela Yaeger (Roland), Jaime Aros (Ruth), Geovani Aros, and Cenen Aros (Karen); son, Orlando Cifuentes (Lisa); grandchildren Michael Cifuentes (Natalie), Tricia Cifuentes-Inglese (Loren), Carolyn Hopkins (Justin), and Matt Lester; 3 great grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and countless friends.
Enelia will be remembered most for her great sense of humor and her love of the Lord.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday April 13th at 6:30 pm at the New Life Assembly, 64 Calkins Road, Rochester, New York 14623. It was Enelia’s wish that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to New Life Assembly.
Orlando, Noelba & family, my condolences for your loss. You are in my thoughts & prayers during this difficult time.
Orlando, Noelba, Mike and Family,
My condolences to all of you for the loss of a beautiful lady. Keep her safe in your heart, I will keep all of you in my prayers.
I saw Enelia on several occasions in Walmart and Wegmans. She was a friendly and classy person to talk with. She will be dearly missed. As a nurse, many fortunate people must have benefited from her kindness. Heaven is a happier place with her addition. “absent from the body, present with the Lord.” 2 Cor.5:8 Deepest Sympathy to her family for her loss. Jim
Orlando, Michael, Tricia & family,
On behalf of the entire Inglese family, our deepest sympathies on Enelia’s passing. We hope fond memories will comfort you through this difficult time.
Orlando and Family: Praying that the Lord will bless you all with his Peace and Strength during this difficult time. Love you!
Dear Enelia’s Family,
I was saddened to learn of Enelia’s passing, because she was a special person to me. She attended many activities at the Henrietta Senior Center where I was part of the staff. She exercised; went on trips; attended our parties; and was part of our Senior/Vollmer Afterschool Children’s group. She would ride with me to the school, help carry things in, interact with the children (she adored them), and ride back to the Senior Center. I remember our talks in the car about both our families and she was so proud of hers. We still kept in contact after I retired and moved to Colorado in 2012. Such fond memories! Please know you all are in my thoughts during this difficult time.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time of loss. Love one another, enjoy each day and make memories that last forever.
Condolences
Eileen and PJ Fannon
