I knew Ernie from Classic Billiards. I didn’t really play, I just enjoyed the company. I moved to TX in 1996 and I was always homesick for the stories and conversations. I remember one night when Ernie and three other guys “kidnapped” me to see a midnight movie. I’d planned on paying for myself, but they wouldn’t let me. Ernie bought my popcorn. He was a true gentlemen and I will miss him even more now. He’s going to make an awesome guardian angel! My condolences to Ernie’s family. ❤

Its been 2 years since you left us. We miss you Ernie. Ernie was a true gentlemen, always willing to help you with lives little problems. In the 50.s 60.s 70.s and 80.s Ernie was one of the best pool players in N.Y. state, competing with the likes of Irving Crane , Mike Sigel, and Larry Hubbard . Thank you for sharing your pool knowledge with me over the years. Rest in peace my good friend, May God always watch over you.
