Felix V. Lapine

Simple Cremation - Rochester Cremation

Rochester NY:  Passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at age 77. He is survived by his four loving sons Misha, Edward, Andrei (Jessica), and Maximillian; five grandchildren Felix, Sidney, Tommy, Jackson, and Maggie; his friend and former spouse Ann; many nieces and nephews, and numerous life-long friends. Felix was born March 25, 1941 in German-occupied Poznan, Poland and escaped the horrors of WWII by immigrating to the United States as a young boy. The greatest loves of Felix’s life were his family, the law, and soccer. He loved his boys and instilled in them a sense of justice and non-judgment that he learned during his prominent career as a criminal defense attorney.

As an announcer for the Rochester Lancers and the founder of Team Lapine, Felix shared his love for “the beautiful game” with those who were blessed to know him. Whether you knew him in the courtroom, on the soccer sidelines, or in your life in any way, Felix was a presence who will not be easily forgotten.

Friends are invited to join in a celebration of Felix’s life on Sunday, December 16, 2018 from 1-4 PM at California Rollin’ II, 1000 N. River St. #123.

In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired by calling 585-697-5711.
