Rochester, NY: August 8, 2020 at age 90. Frances, a God loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother is survived by her four children; Linda, Laura, Lydia, and Andrew Goodrum; seven grandchildren Elle Goodrum White, Ranita Hudson, Ray Hudson, Braxston, Xavier, Champagne, and Lynnzi Goodrum; grandson-in-law Van White; great-grandson Emanuel Moultrie Jr.; her sister Daisy Knotts and family; and other loving family and friends. From her passion of caring for others she worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for nearly 40 years before retiring in 2006. She loved reading the Bible and praying as much as possible teaching her family to “lean on God.”
A personal thank you to the University of Rochester Medicine Home Care staff and home hospice team for their compassionate care. Frances was a quiet person, and blessed with a beautiful heart, a wonderful personality, and a smile that could light any room which captivated many special people. The family would like to say thank you for all the support and prayers you have given to her and our family. Please join us in the Celebration of her life and her homegoing to Jesus Christ by reading her favorite scripture passage, Psalm 91.
