Francis “Frank” M. Kacprzynski

Francis “Frank” M. Kacprzynski - Rochester Cremation

Francis “Frank” M. Kacprzynski passed away on December 3, 2022 at age 83 after a valiant fight against Guillain-Barre Syndrome.

He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia “Pat” of 50 yrs., two children (Greg Kacprzynski of Fairport, NY., and Maureen Liu of Ashburn, VA.), 5 grandchildren and siblings (Honore, Maryanne, Fredrick, and Florence “Suzanne”).

After a childhood of adventurous mischief in Syracuse NY, Frank served in the U.S. Navy and subsequently brought his skills & experience to a long career as a communications technician. He was an avid hobbyist, lifelong learner and outdoorsman who obtained a commercial pilot’s license, never failed to pass up on a lawnmower in need of repair and had a special love for year-round fishing in the NY Finger Lakes.  Despite all this, he gave all that he could to Pat, was always willing to help a friend in need, and provided unwavering love & support to his children and grandchildren.

In his retirement, he enjoyed volunteering his time at the Victor Swap Shop and Fairport Tool Thrift shop. He would have loved to be remembered as a hard-working problem solver with a constant glimmer in his eye for a new spot where the fish are biting.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Lodge at Victor Municipal Park (6680 Paparone Drive, Victor, NY 14564) on Sunday Jan 22, 2023, from 10-2PM, for all friends and family.  For those interested in donating in his memory please consider the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or the Fairport Tool Thrift Shop.

Frank, lots of memories growing up, working on the Mercury, hunting and fishing trips, and just doing things together, I cherish them. I’ll miss our telephone talks. I hear there’s good fishing up there!

    Love, Brother, Fred

So very sorry to hear of the passing of Frank and the illness of Pat. They were the best of neighbors when we moved next door in 1996. There was never a moment I couldn’t call upon Frank to fix a dehumidifier or lawnmower. The very loveliest of neighbors. I taught with Joanne Bruzdzinski, so she shared the information and how we connected. I will keep you both in our thoughts and prayers. Our deepest sympathies, Greg and Maureen!
    Sincerely,
    Sue & Mel Taber
