Canandaigua/Honeoye Falls N.Y., age 70, passed away on Monday, December 2, 2019, at Light Hill Comfort Care Home in Canandaigua, N.Y.

Predeceased by his father Frederick W. Rathbun, brothers Jerry, Timothy (Fred’s twin brother), John and Daniel.  Survived by his mother Donna, sisters Diane, Eileen (Daniel A. Broadwell), Kathy (Donald Kuhn) and his brother Michael.  A very special nephew Daniel Frederick Broadwell (Sheila), very special niece Melissa Mary Broadwell-Vargas (Abraham Vargas), and many wonderful nieces and nephews, great nieces and great-great nieces and nephews.

Freddy loved to make people laugh.  There are few unique souls who would rather make us laugh.  They are the folks who are remembered long after they have passed.  Many loving thanks to the wonderful ladies of Light Hill Comfort Care Home.  Their kindness, special and respectful care for Fred will never be forgotten.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Light Hill, 5160 Parrish St Ext, Canandaigua, N.Y. 14424.

      My most heartfelt condolences and prayers are with the Rathbun family. Fred was indeed unique and one of a kind. Any thought of him brings me an abundance of joy. Freddy, Tim and much of his family were a big and important part of my growing years in the “Southern Manor hood” and I’m eternally grateful to have had their presence. Thanks for the memories, the life lessons and your friendship old pal.
