Gail Patricia Howes age 80, Of York, NY passed away on July 29, 2023 surrounded by her loving family and friends at home. Born on May 18,1943. Gail is predeceased by her parents Bessie Bolton (Pike)& Robert Grah, her stepparents Raymond Bolton Sr. & Ruth Grah, her husband David Hugh Howes, her brother Gary Grah and 2 children: David Howes Jr.& Diane Howes.
She survived by her 4 loving children: Dale Howes & (Cindy Judd) of Kendall, NY, Darrel & (Kelly)Howes of Gray Court, SC, Gerald Howes of Albion, NY, Sherry & (Walton) Graves of York, NY, her 2 sisters: Eileen & Nancy Grah of Kendall, NY, her brother: Raymond & (Karen) Bolton Jr. of Oak Island, NC, 4 Grandchildren: Dylan Howes, Derek & (Taylor) Howes, Damian Morfin Howes, Sadie Howes & 1 Great Grandchild: Archer Howes as well as several nieces, nephews, & tons of close cousins. She was retired from Suny Brockport College.
Being with family & close family friends at picnic gatherings is what she enjoyed most so in honor of her there will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, July 27th,2024 for Gail. Location TBD. Burial of both David & Gail Howes will take place at the family plot in Lynhaven Cemtery in Lyndonville, NY on the same day. Stay tuned for event updates via FB & through Sherry Graves.
She was a beautiful lady with a beautiful soul. She will be missed and her memories will be cherished. My deepest condolences to her family. God bless you all in this time of mourning.

Sherry I’m so sorry i missed being there with u gu! Mom will be greatly missed by me and many more! She welcomed everybody she met in she had a loving soul and I regret not be able to go to any of ur gatherings but I will hold onto the lovely memories I have as k+u and I was younger and ur mom was still working at Suny! May MOM rest in paradise with DAD for eternity.
