Geneseo, NY: 1947-2021. George passed peacefully on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at the age of 73.
Preceded in death by his parents George and Audrey Lehman (Harnischfeger) and his loving wife Dorothy Lehman (VanAllen).
Surviving are his brother John Lehman (Kathy Lehman); also surviving are his 3 children Carol Nicholls (David Nicholls), George Lehman and Cheryl Lehman; also surviving are his 8 grandchildren, Ashley Holl (Corey Holl), Rachael Nicholls, Angel Lehman, Keith Lehman, David Kiley, Christa Kiley, Anthony Porcelli, and Christian Lehman.
We want to give a special thanks to all of his friends and neighbors that were there for George to lend a helping hand when it was needed. Whether it was a ride or just to sit and talk or gathering for coffee at Wegmans.
A Service will be held on Saturday, August 7th at 2pm at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, 4631 Lakeville Geneseo Rd., Geneseo N.Y In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in George’s name to: https://app.easytithe.com/App/Giving/pvbcgeneseony
When sadness overcomes me I think of George’s laugh and it lifts my spirits. I always told him we were cousins… I feel blessed to have known him. He will always have a special place in my heart and the hearts of my husband and children. I will never forget his caring enough to make a holiday meal in the community room of his building so that we could share the day with my sister who could no longer get into our home because of stairs. We truly loved George and always will. Our heart goes out to his family and all who loved him.
