Gerald Edward Wilson of Rochester, NY, passed away on July 3, 2023 at age 75.
Born on June 12, 1948 to the late Chester and Vera (Phillips) Wilson, Jerry spent his early years in the Wyoming, NY area. He began higher education at Alfred Tech, then went on to receive a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and a Master’s Degree of Science in Computer Systems Management, both from Rochester Institute of Technology. His work history included employment at IBM, Blue Cross/Blue Shield and Wegmans.
In addition to Dana L. Bezwerchyj, his life partner of 23 years, Jerry is survived by son Paul R. Wilson, daughter Kristen L. Wilson, and sisters Joyce E. Strong and Cynthia L. Blakeslee. He was predeceased by older brother Philip H. Wilson.
