Gerald F. Manfredi - Rochester Cremation

ROCHESTER, NEW YORK: JULY 23, 2023 at age 79.

Jerry is survived by his wife and the love of his life of 59 years, Donna. He is also survived by his children: Beth (Michael), Donald (Jeanette), and Theresa (Mark), as well as his grandchildren: Robert, Vincent, Alia, Blake, Laura and Sam, and his great grandson, Alexander. He also leaves behind multiple beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Born on August 8, 1943, he was a renaissance man with many years of community service. Jerry’s talents were devoted to many things. He was a football referee for Pop Warner. He taught woodworking at the Boys and Girls Club, and machining for rural opportunities. He loved cooking, and will be especially remembered for his huge peanut butter cookies. He sailed Lake Ontario in a 19 foot sailboat as a young adult, and devoted many years of service to the Coast Guard Auxiliary, which he joined in 2008.
He also enjoyed fishing, playing trumpet, painting and photography. Jerry also recently completed writing a short story.

A Celebration of Jerry’s life will be held at Rochester Cremation, 1118 Long Pond Road, Rochester, New York 14626 on Monday, July 31, 2023, from 3 pm – 6 pm, with a prayer service 5:30- 6:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations are appreciated to the Wilmot Cancer Center or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
