February 5th, 1971 – June 4th, 2021: After a courageous battle with glioblastoma, Heidi passed peacefully on June 4th with her son Clayton “CJ” Young by her side.
Heidi worked for the Department of Human Services and was active in the Federation of Social Workers, as well as multiple animal rescues. Her love for smart and savvy shopping, and perfectly matching a handbag with shoes and jewelry was only rivaled by her love for her family, friends, and furry companion, Maizy.
She is survived by her son Clayton (Rebecca) Young; parents, Joseph and Suzzanne; siblings, Heather, John (Suzanne), Jason (Meg); uncle Frank (aunt Gayle) Richards; nieces, Alexa (Cunningham) and Shealyn (Rickard); godson, Ryan Ange; lifelong friend and partner in crime, Connie Ange; as well as many others, too numerous to mention.
At Heidi’s request, there will be a celebration of her life on Friday, June 11th from 3-8 pm at Liberty Lodge in Finn Park, 850 Maple Drive Webster, 14580. All friends are welcome to join in celebrating. Feel free to bring a dish to pass, a photo, and a memory to share.
