She is predeceased by her three brothers, Hermann, Helmut and Josef Ehrhart, her two sisters, Elfriede Hacker and Lydia Klein, nephew, Helmut Ehrhart, and daughter-in-law Gale Baldino. Many of them have a story to tell of how Aunt or Cousin Helga or Mrs. Baldino had a positive influence on their lives.

Helga was born in Germany I934 and emigrated to the United States in 1956. She was a teller at Chase Bank for 25 years. In her spare time she knit and tended to her garden. She was an excellent cook who would invite family and friends over for what was always a very filling and delicious meal. She enjoyed vacationing with the family, spending time in Florida in the winter, going on cruises, and visiting a casino on occasion.

Our heartfelt condolences to Ted and all the family. We are so sorry to hear of her passing. We always enjoyed Helga’s and Ted’s company, when they spent a few weeks in Florida. I’ve known Helga since 1995 when we worked together at Schamberger’s meats. Helga was a good friend and will be missed by both of us.
    Sincerely Gabi and George Schamberger

To Ted and family. I am so sorry for your great loss. My parents, Mike and Kathe Umhofer, were good friends. I remember seeing them at my parents’ parties. I know my mom enjoyed Helga’s company, as they were both German. I always remember the, “Baldinos,” as wonderful people. God bless you all.

Dear Ted, I was so sorry to learn of the passing of your wife. From the photos, you certainly had a rich and loving life. I am sure the recipes you gave me at Franklin in the 80’s when we worked together were Helga’s! May her memory be a source of blessing in these difficult days. Sincerely, Marilyn Roy

Ted the Lyon Family sends our love. Nory the youngest still feels bad that she cried at your wedding. I just remember how absolutely beautiful Hega was at your wedding. I always loved her story telling. With of course her German accent. I loved seeing the photo tribute. So many happy memories!

To Mr. Baldino, Joe and MaryAnn. I am so sorry to hear about Helga (aka Mrs. Baldino). I truly believe I was lucky to live next door for so many years and got to taste her incredible cooking. I still remember these donut-like goodies she would make. I will always have fond memories of Mrs. Baldino (aka 2nd mother to me.) My thoughts and prayers are with you all. MaryAnn give me a call some time.
