Henry “Hank” O. Eiffert - Canandaigua, NY - Rochester Cremation

Canandaigua, NY- Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at the age of 86. Henry is survived by his wife of 61 years, Carol Lucille Eiffert; Sons: Eric Eiffert (Andrea Eiffert), Gregory Eiffert (Nina Eiffert), Paul Eiffert (Debbie Eiffert) and daughter Kristin Sullivan (Brian Sullivan); Sisters: Marie Porter, Joan Olivo, Judy Everson; 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Henry was a Marine veteran of the Korean War. He owned and operated N/S Distributing, Inc., a successful wholesale and retail construction supply distributorship covering upstate New York for over 45 years. He loved living on the water, boating and sailing. He spent almost his entire adult life on Irondequoit Bay in Rochester, NY, and later, on Canandaigua Lake in Canandaigua, NY. After retirement he kept busy in his later years developing property in and around Canandaigua, NY. He will be greatly missed by his family and his beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren.

    So sorry to learn of this, Eric. I have nothing but fond memories of your dad. I just left my folks and they send their condolences as well. My dad remembers helping your dad run a water line under Little Massasoug Cove back in the 50’s.

    Henry must have been an amazing man because he raised some awesome young men. Hugs to your family Greg and Eric! We know the sailing communities around Rochester and Canandaigua are better because your dad was in it!
