Greece, NY – Thursday, December 29, 2022, at age 87. Henry is predeceased by his loving wife of 62 years, Catherine; parents, Samuel and Mary, brothers Kenneth (Joan) and Ronald (Madelyn). Survived by his children, Thomas (Betty), Patricia (Mike), Mark (Carla); grandchildren, Bradley (Sabrina), Jason (Katlyn), Emilee (Dan), Julie (James), Samuel, Macy; great-grandchildren, Preston, Evie, Amelia, Leo, Elio, Esme; many nieces and nephews and many dear friends.
Henry was a dedicated Catholic and lifetime member of both St. Mark’s and St. John the Evangelist in Spencerport. He served in the St. Mark’s Church choir, Sunday school, as a member of the Men’s Club as well as in many other servant positions. Henry most especially enjoyed outings with his family.
Henry’s Funeral Mass will be held on Friday February 24, 2023 at 11:00 AM at St. Mark’s Church, 54 Kuhn Rd. Rochester (Greece), NY. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Open Door Mission in Rochester.
My condolences, he was a dear friend & neighbor. He was a joy to be around. I especially remember Hank & Kay coming to their old neighborhood & we would sit outside viewing Cranberry Pond & have wonderful conversations.
I will Miss Hank. He was the eldest of all the cousins in our family and I admired him for his sense of humor and joy, especially with his family. Growing up in the 40’s and 50’s, we spent many, many Sunday family dinners together and Hank always found ways for us children to have fun as we sat at the kids table in the kitchen. Also I was in his wedding and that was so special to me. God bless you Hank!! Barb Holland
