Herman Thomas Brown peacefully departed from this Earth to his permanent home in Heaven on Monday, October 17, 2022. He was surrounded and supported by his loving family. Herman was born on January 1, 1962, at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, New York to Mathis L. Brown (deceased) and Christine Brown. In 1987, Herman relocated to the place he considered to be his true home; Kissimmee, Florida, where he would later met his late wife, Rosemary. He lived in Florida for most of his life before returning to Rochester to be closer to his family.
Herman is survived by his mother, brothers Mathie (Venita) Brown Jr., Ronald Brown and Reginald (Sheridan) Brown Sr.; sisters Alinda Brown, Chauntenette (Ozzie) Palmer, Shana Howard, Arnelia (Ted Francis) Brown, and Sandra Heard; partner Shereese Blackman; fourteen nieces, fifteen nephews and their children. He leaves behind friends and best friend Gene Nell.
Herman’s Memorial Service will be held Monday, October 24, 2022, at Rochester Cremation Event Center at 1118 Long Pond Road, Rochester, New York 14626. Viewing from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. with funeral services beginning at 12 p.m.
