Huguette Leone Snell - Rochester, NY - Rochester Cremation

Rochester, New York- February 10th, 2021 at age 93. Pre-deceased by her husband Karl S. Snell (world war 2 veteran) and daughter Christine L. Palermo. She is survived by son Jean Claude Snell, daughter Patricia A. Jovanelli (husband John Jovanelli), granddaughter Natalie R. DiRisio (husband Matthew DiRisio), great grandchildren Easton E. DiRisio, Emilia M. DiRisio, more family, and many, many loving friends.

She was born in Paris, France and became an American citizen in 1948. She worked and retired from taylor instruments. She was an advocate for all animals and Native Americans. She was a member of the Gates Italian senior club.

Graveside service to be determined in the spring at St. Pius church cemetery. Donations can be given in her name to the Humane Society of Rochester or Lollypop Farm (www.Lollypop.Org)

    She was such a wonderful person. We will never forget her. She made this world a better place. I am happy that she lived such a long good life. Now she is with my Mother looking down on us all and awaiting our reunion some day.

    I’m sorry to hear of the loss of Huguette. Will miss our visits mostly by phone the past year. She had a zest for life, driving and staying in her home into her 90s!

    Our deepest heartfelt condolences. We have enjoyed many good times together with Huguette and our lives have been enriched from knowing her. We will miss her dearly, but she will remain in our hearts forever. She knew how to enjoy life and we are grateful to have known her.
