James C. Dalton (JD) - Spencerport, NY - Rochester Cremation

Spencerport, NY:  On July 2nd 2022 at age 64.  James lost his battle with Cancer.

He is survived by his wife Deborah Dalton; parents Carl and Shirley Hagstrom; Father-in-law Peter Hauck and Mother-in-law Roxanne Appelbaum; children James, Jonathan, Tony Hagstrom (Katie), Nick, Jake (Cayli) Breanna Salerno and Brian Salerno; Grandson Anthony Salerno; and other loving family and friends.

Jim enjoyed golfing, camping, watching sports and spending time with his family. He dedicated over 35 years of his life working for New York State Fence Company.

Jim’s Celebration of Life gathering will be held on Sunday, July 10, 2022 at 12pm at Timber Ridge Golf Club, 7061 West Ridge Road, Brockport, NY 14420. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Wilmont Cancer Center for Cancer research.

    Debbie I so so sorry for your loss I know you were there to take care of him until the end. Now he is at piece I know the pain you have so well you just need to take day by day. God is there with you just keep Praying for Him to give you comfort. and he does You have your kids and your precious grandson to keep you going. Never give up and now you need to take care of yourself. I live you and Praying for you everyday. The one that gets you better is Our Lord. He helps me everyday.

      Jim was a great guy to me here at the fence company. He was always nice to me and he always asked me “How are you doing kid?” I will miss that. He worked till the end and was a true company guy. He was also a great friend. Love to your entire family.

    Jim will be greatly missed. I remember working with him when I was a young kid. He would never talk to me in the morning as we would drive to the jobsite, but he would always be singing along with the radio. Great guy taken way too soon.

    I am so sorry to hear about the lost of your husband, Jim! What a shock! It just goes to show life is just way to short and you need to grab it while you can and
    keep those memories and hold them close to your heart. Jim was a very generous guy especially when he let us used the camper to go to Varysburg… Always, know
