My Brother, Jim, when Lynne first told me about you so many years ago, I was thrilled that she had found such a man. I gained a Brother and never once looked back. You two have blessed us with 4 Nephews and 1 Niece that are pure joy. I’m going to miss your laugh and your smile. Till we meet again…….

I met you 42 years ago and you were always laughing,You were a genuinely nice guy, you grew into a fine man, great father and husband to Lynne. May you rest in peace,I will miss you Yim.
Though it’s been years since, for each time I had the pleasure of being with the Howard family, I knew I was in cherishing company. I’ve always admired, and been inspired by, this great family. To know that Jim has created such an amazing legacy is comforting, even through all that hurts regarding those he left behind. What a blessed thing the Howard family is. I pray for ease and wellness to everyone in their mourning and wish for warmth and goodness in each memory you’ll feel. Thank you for being such an incredible example of life, love and family.
May your heart and soul find comfort in this difficult time Lynne. My thoughts are with you and yours. Barb (Muller) Metzger

Dear Dan, Dee, Summer, Doris, and family,
We are so very sorry to hear of your loss. There is no greater pain than the loss of a son, father, brother in death. God promises you will see him again! In the mean time we wish you peace and comfort knowing you are surrounded by family and friends who truely love you very much. Love, Cary and Loranzo Whitfield
I hadn’t seen Jimmy since 1992, I think. My mother’s funeral. His mother and mine were sisters. I grew up with all of the Howard kids. We all took day trips together, had sleepovers together…..we were ALWAYS together. Jimmy was ALWAYS smiling, happy and joking. I’m so sorry for all of your losses.
