Rochester, NY – James Patrick Stoy (Jim) passed away February 17, 2022 at the age of 77. Jim was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on July 13, 1944. He is predeceased by his father Frank E. Stoy, mother Alice Stoy, and son Jeff Stoy of Cincinnati.
He is survived by his loving wife Claudia Stoy, sons Jason Stoy (Erica) , Danny Jones and daughter Lindsey Easter (Brandon). He also was a loving grandfather to four beautiful granddaughters Olivia, Riley, Aubree and Kylee.
Jim was a U.S. Navy veteran that served aboard the USS Murray. He and Claudia married June 6, 1981 and raised their two sons and daughter in Covington, Kentucky. He worked and retired from Thaman Rubber Company in 2010. Jim will be fondly remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and a friend. He will be greatly missed.
