Jane Lehrbach - Rochester Cremation

May 12,2023, at the age of 91, after a short illness, went home to be with the Lord and reunited with her beloved husband, Philip, to whom she was married for 59 years and who predeceased her in 2014. She is survived by three children: Jeffrey (Paula) Lehrbach of Royalton, NY; Melissa (Michael) Quinn of Penfield, NY and Kerstin (Paul) Lepore of Fountain Inn, SC. Also survived by five (5) grandchildren: Kimberly (Lehrbach) Willert of Clarence, NY, Kyler Lehrbach of Philadelphia, PA, Alyssa (Lepore) Fry of Aberdeen, NC, Olivia Lepore of Atlanta, GA and Maura (Quinn) Saraco of Lancaster, SC. Jane was also a proud Gigi to five (5) great- grandchildren: Charlie and Makenzie Willert, Emory and Findley Fry and Logan Saraco.

Jane had a zest for life, and especially loved her family, friends, singing, classical music, kodak photos, reading fiction, and outdoor activities, including camping, golfing, swimming and beaches at Cape Cod and Ft. Myers. Jane grew up in the town of Harrisville, NY in the New York “North Country”, the daughter of Kyler and Mildred Paul and she graduated from SUNY Potsdam with a degree in Education and a Music Minor. She moved to the Rochester, NY area after college, married Philip Lehrbach, and raised their children in Penfield, NY.

Jane taught at Harris Hill Elementary School in Penfield for over 25 years, where she touched many students’ lives over the years. She was a communicant at the Penfield Episcopal Church of the Incarnation since 1965 and lent her beautiful soprano voice to the choir for many years.

Jane’s Memorial Service will be held on Sat. August 5, 2023 at 10 am at the Penfield Episcopal Church of the Incarnation, 1957 Five Mile Line Rd., Penfield, NY.
