Greece, NY – Janet greeted Jesus with open arms and walked through the gates of heaven with him on Tuesday, January 18th, 2022. Born on February 19th, 1928 in Rochester, NY. Janet is survived by her children; son David (Debbie) Lincoln, daughter Pamela Kaminski, her grandchildren; Nicole (Tim Montgomery) Lincoln, Jason Lincoln, Sean (Sarah) Lincoln, Jared (Marisa Spronz) Kaminski, great grandchildren; Jayden and Savannah Montgomery, Makayla and Madalynn Lincoln, and many nieces and nephews, and very dear friends “adopted daughter by love” Suzanne (Carl) Pilon and family.

Janet was predeceased by her parents Arthur and Lillian Ward, Stepmoms May Ward and Katherine Ward, sisters; Carol Sweat, Shirley Hochstein, brothers; Alan, Bruce and Norm (Carolyn) and grandson Andrew Lincoln.

She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and Grandma to many. Janet received her nursing degree from University of Rochester and continued to be a Registered Nurse at Strong Memorial Hospital in the Recovery Room for 42 years.

After Janet’s retirement, she volunteered for over 18 years at QUEST Elementary School in Hilton, NY and was known as Grandma by all.  “Grandma” brought much love and joy to the children at QUEST.  She treated each child as if they were her own grandchildren and taught them many lessons that they hold dear even to this day.  She looked forward to school everyday to be with her “grandchildren” and also had a bright smile and warm heart for each one.  She will be deeply missed, and forever be in our hearts.

Friends and family are invited to call on family between the hours of 5:00 and 7:00 PM and Memorial Service at 7PM on Friday, January 21st, 2022 at Park Ridge Free Methodist Church, 10 Straub Road, Rochester 14626.
