Janice passed away peacefully at home in Charlotte, NY on August 10,2021 at the age of 75.
She was Survived by her son Michael G. Montrois Jr. (Louanne). Her life partner Donald Miller, Step Daughter Diane Miller and family. Her Brother Thomas Whalen, Her Grandchildren Zachery Montrois, Hannah, Taylor and Hazel. Several Cousins, Nieces and Nephews and so many who loved her!
A Celebration of her Life will be held privately on her birthday September 4, 2021. If you would like more information, please reach out to the family.

To me she was Aunt Jan because that’s what all my children called her, but to me she was more like a Ma. They only lived 3 homes away so me & the kids were over there all the time.she made Nikki this huge yellow quilt with a huge Jack in the box on it. All done by cross stitch.She was always a hard worker & loves her family. Well she was called home to be a beautiful angel. Yes she has gained her wings so she is high in the sky watching down on everyone e she loves. She shares the same birth date as my Husband so I’ll be thinking of her and her beautiful family. Rest In Peace Aunt Jan I Love you.😇❤️😇
Will never forget her surprise party on her 70th Birthday. She was grateful for what she had not what she lacked. Prayer for her family members and friends. She will be missed.
I worked in the building janice lived in….she was the sweetest…always had a smile…always had time for convetsation…..a joke …a laugh….
