Webster NY: November 14, 2016, age 80. Predeceased by her husband, Donald McNeil, in 2013. She leaves a brother, Duane Shuster (Irene) and sisters Carol Ritter Wright (Bill), Lois Kozlowski (Jim) and Rita Buchanan (Steve). She is also survived by two children from a previous marriage – Randy Cepuch and LaDonna Court, honorary daughter Sandy Leavy, three step-children including Bruce McNeil (Terri), three grandchildren – Jennifer Court Woodford (Joshua) plus Sean and Mollie McNeil, and two great-granddaughters – Joslin and Josie Woodford.
Born to Anna and Romaine Shuster on September 23, 1936 in Seneca Falls, Janice graduated from Mynderse Academy and attended RBI. Over the years she lived in Greece, Williamson and Webster. She sang in the choir at Aldersgate Methodist Church and worked at Sibley’s and Eastman Kodak. She married Don McNeil in 1982 and they traveled far and wide in their RV, spending colder months in Myrtle Beach, SC and serving as co-presidents of their Holiday Ramblers RV Club chapter. She enjoyed reading, gardening and photography.
No services, per her request. Interment will be at Lake View Cemetery in Pultneyville, NY. An online memorial site has been established at Virtual-Memorial.com. Donations in Janice’s name can be made to your local Audubon Society, public library or charity of your choice.
