Atlanta, NY: Janice R. Parks (Thorp) of Atlanta, NY passed away peacefully on Friday, December 24, 2021 after a long illness.
She was a loving wife to James Parks. She was the mother of Scott (Michelle), David (Jenny), Matthew (Liana), Ashley (Eric), Bradly (Renee). She is also survived by her grandchildren Briana, David B., Brian, Alexander, Olivia, Dante, Alexis, Clarissa, Zeke, Wyatt, and many nieces and nephews.
Janice was the daughter of the late Edwin J. Thorp and Mary E. (Cyr). She was the sister of Brenda (Terry) Kelley and brother Arthur Thorp. Predeceased by brother Edwin F. Thorp.
Janice loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, camping, reading,and dancing.
In memory of Janice’s life please make a donation to the Vincent House in Wayland, NY. A memorial will be held at a later date.
I am so sorry to hear of Janice’s passing. We were in school together, graduating class of 1962. May she now rest in peace.
