Brockport, N.Y.-March 6, 2024 at age 76. Jill is predeceased by her parents, Harry F. Slater and Elizabeth R. Slater; sister Sharon Slater Moore; nephew Lance Gearing and extremely sassy fur daughter, Abby. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Monica Slater; twin sister Joy (Donald) Gearing; sister Martha (Terence) Fischer; nieces Deanne Patterson, Kimberly Gearing, Stacey Vaccaro; nephew Michael Moore; other loving family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, March 16th, 10:30 AM at Christ Community Church, 36 Coleman Creek Road, Brockport, NY 14420.
In lieu of flowers you can make a donation to the Special Olympics in honor of her much beloved nephew Lance Gearing.
We are with you in spirit much love to you and the rest of our family Aunt. Jill will be greatly missed ❤️

I remember Jill and Monica from working as a receptionist at Wesley Gardens. We always used to talk and she would always give me peppermints. I will miss her smile, humor and sweet spirit. She always used to give me peppermints when I saw her. I miss her dearly. I will never forget her and I am praying that the memories that her family and friends have had with her brings them comfort.
