Jimmie Dell Bryant - Rochester Cremation

Jimmie Dell Bryant, 72yrs old, of Rochester, NY went to be with the angles in Heaven. On February 11, 2023. He was comforted in the arms of his daughter as he passed. Jimmie was born September 1950 in Dehue, WV to parents Brack and Kansas Bryant. He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Melinda and Timothy Reeves and Christena and Sean Murray, Grandchildren Daniel Reeves, Caleb and Morgan Murray, Great Grandchildren Mollie, Loretta, and Waylon Reeves. Jimmie was one of 10 children he had 9 brothers and sisters, 18 nieces and 5 nephews of Whom he loved dearly.

Jimmie was a projectionist for almost 30 years. He then moved to Louisville, KY to become a property manager. He then moved to retire in Huntington WV succumb to a medical emergency that brought him back to Rochester, NY to be cared by his family. After years of a difficult quality of life his spirit was never broken. He still wanted to laugh, tell jokes and spend time with his family.

Jimmie was known for his free spirit. He was kind, caring, loving, compassionate, funny and an all around Jokester. He had famous saying like,” How you Doin?”,” What’s your name?”, or “Whatcha think about that?” He enjoyed being outdoors no matter what. He loved gardening, singing, football, cars, listening to music, dancing and spending time with family especially his grandchildren. He will be truly missed by many.

The Song has ended but the melody will linger on! Fly high Dad and Rest in Peace! We will love you forever until me meet again.

Services for his final goodbye will be from 9:00 am – 12:00pm on Friday 17, 2023 at Rochester Cremation, 1118 Long Pond Rd, Rochester, NY 14626.
