JoAnn was born on March 12, 1943 in Geneva, the daughter of the late Ernest and Elva Baumgartner, and her late sister Elaine Durkin. JoAnn is predeceased by her husband Roy Forest. JoAnn is survived by her daughter Shelly Frawley (Randy), daughter Jeneane Lach (Jay), and her step-daughter Jeanna Markese-Byrd (Robert). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Matt, Nick, Emma, Easton, Monica and Natalie as well as nephews, Ed (Mary) and Chris (Sue).JoAnn enjoyed her work caring for the elderly. Her interests included spending time with her family, Copper her beloved dog, as well as gardening, crafting and cooking.
Her family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks for the care and compassion received from the doctors, nurses and staff at the Wilmot Cancer Institute. Services will be held privately. Donations may be sent to The Leo Center for Caring.
