Rochester NY: September 17, 2015 at the age of 77 from natural causes. John was born to parents Elmer C. and Melissa A. Bovee on April 25, 1938. He was the youngest of five brothers. He graduated from Addison High School and attended Mohawk Valley Technical Institute where he earned his degree. Upon graduation he began his career at the Post Standard in Syracuse N.Y. Later he worked for The Corning Leader, Corning N.Y. in the sales and advertising department,where he retired. He then moved to Rochester, N.Y. where he held a position as security officer at a local bank. He lived in Rochester for twenty eight years until the remainder if his life.
John is survived by his nieces and nephews; William (Bill) Bovee of Rochester, N.Y. ; Michael (Mike )Bovee of Bushell,Fl.; Gregory Bovee (Greg) of Addison, NY.; Christina (Chris) Bovee-Drinkwater of Corning,N.Y.; Charlene (Char) Bovee-lewis of Rochester,N.Y.; Sharon Bovee (Rude) of Addison, N.Y. and Great Great Great nieces and nephews.
There will be no viewing services. Burial will be private.
