ROCHESTER, NY – John L “Jack” Ritz
Entered into rest July 1st 2023 at the age of 83.
Survived by lifelong best friend and loving wife of 60 years Marie Ritz; Daughter, Kathleen Gilboe (Mark McCormick); Son, Thomas (Laura) Ritz; Grandsons, Nicholas (Megan) Gilboe and Koa Ritz; Great granddaughter, Emma Marie Gilboe; Brother in law, Joseph (Jean) Sciarabba; Son in law, Daniel Gilboe; Several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff of RGH Sands 600 for their excellent care.
Jack was a proud Navy Veteran and had a lifelong passion for his career as a tree surgeon/arborist.
Donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
A celebration of Jack’s life will be held August 4th 2023 from 4 – 8 PM at Maher Lodge, 836 S Sanford Rd, Churchville, NY 14428.
