John M. Gunderson, “Gundi” 56

 

Died Monday August 7th 2017. Survived by his beloved wife Stephanie Gunderson, loving daughter Deanna Gunderson, and cherished grandson Carter Sekovski. He is also survived his sisters and brother-in-laws, Maria and Charles Steward, Karen and Raymond Gates, Catherine and Daniel Basch. He is survived by 35 nieces and nephews. John Gunderson is a 1979 graduate from Fairport High School and was a machine operator for 35 years at Nifty Bar Inc. John is also a member of the Church of the Assumption.

John lived his life for his family and friends. Everyone that knew him grew in love and happiness.  He was a talented fisherman, and enjoyed being out on the water. He enjoyed golfing and watching sports. He also enjoyed listening to his friends bands, and Classic Rock music.

Funeral Services to be held at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, please send your contributions to the American Heart Association.

    Rest In Peace Gundi. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. I still use the Ping putter you gave me when we were kids, it holds even more meaning now, and I am sure it will roll even more true now with your divine intervention.
