Jolene Ann Meyers - Rochester Cremation

Jolene Ann Meyers, beloved mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 3, 2023, at the age of 63 in Rochester, New York. She was born on June 18, 1960, in Lockport, New York. Jolene was a loving, proud, creative, and determined woman who touched the lives of many.

Jolene dedicated her life to helping others as a Social Worker, providing support and assistance to those in need. Her compassionate nature and unwavering commitment made a positive impact on the lives she touched.

Jolene was a graduate of Batavia High School and later pursued higher education at SUNY Brockport. In her free time, Jolene enjoyed indulging in her hobbies, which included crafts, karaoke, and decorating. These activities allowed her to express her creativity and bring joy to those around her.

Jolene’s family was of great importance to her. She is survived by her children, James and Shannon Meyers (Evan Tornatore), who were a constant source of pride and joy. She is also survived by her mother, Jacqueline Wagner, and siblings: Joseph Busch, Al Busch, Linda Buckel Blanc, and Elizabeth Wagner. Jolene was preceded in death by her sister, Laurie Busch.

For many years, Jolene attended Nativity BVM church in Brockport, New York. Her faith was a very important part of her life.

A Celebration of Life will be held on November 12th from 2-6pm at The American Legion located at 222 West Avenue, Brockport, New York. All those who knew Jolene or her family are welcome to attend and share in the memories of a remarkable woman.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Jolene’s memory to Fight Colorectal Cancer, an organization dedicated to raising awareness and supporting those affected by this disease. Donations can be made online at

Jolene Ann Meyers will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her love, kindness, and dedication to others will forever be remembered as her lasting legacy.

    Jolene was a wonderful woman, full of life and happiness. When I met her she always had a smile on her face, very funny and loving lady. Her light shines thru in her children. May she Rest In Peaceā€¦..
