Joe passed away on Sunday 7/10/22, at the age of 72.

Pre-deceased by his parents Alphonse & Margaret Werner, sisters: Delores VanScott and Margaret Mills, and brother: Ronald Werner.

Joe is survived by: his loving wife, Linda of 22 years. Sisters, brothers, sisters-in-law, and brothers-in-law: Kathy & John Baker, Linda & Bill Clarke, Tom & Carol Werner, Stephen Werner & Kate Chase, Mary & Jim Ryan. Children: Alissa Werner Dostie & Christoforo Alberti, Joseph Werner Jr. & Tara Share, Kristen Werner & Joe Herne, Joshua Ross, Jacob & Tiffany Ross, and Jordan Werner. Grandchildren: Christopher Dostie, Dylan Dostie & Karissa Phillips, Alexander Hill, Brianna, Olivia, Easton Ross, great grandchild Finn Dostie, and dog Maize.

Joe grew up in Rochester, joined the Marines and served in Vietnam from 1968 to 1970, receiving a medal for: The Republic of Vietnam Cross of Gallantry with Palm.

Joe worked at Lawyer’s Co-op (Thompsons) for 18 years and retired from The Delivery Company.

Joe was loved very much and will truly be missed by his family and friends.

There will be no calling hours. The Graveside Service will be at Webster Union Cemetery on July 31st 2022 at 11:00am and a Celebration of Life will be held at the Webster Ukrainian Club immediately following.

    Joe was a good man. He was a wonderful husband and father to his family. I feel blessed to have known him. He was always such a kind soul. My thoughts and prayers are with you Linda and your family at this difficult time. Love you and big hugs.❤

    Joe was someone that you could come to the house and he and Lynda would always be there for you. Family parties, Thanksgivings and birthdays were always a fun time. You will be missed by many. God speed. Thank you for your service . ❤️❤️
