Rochester, NY: Joe passed away on June 11th surrounded by friends and family.
Born in Rochester, NY to Gertrude and Harry Goldman, Joe lived his life with great love, loyalty, generosity, humor, irreverence and warmth. After his father’s untimely death Joe took over as president of Lilac Laundry and Dry Cleaning. He and his brother Donald ran their business until retiring in 2007. King of dry humor, doing business on a handshake, playing cards on Thursdays and loving his friends, family and dogs, Joe will be sorely missed. He is survived by his wife Ellen Rosenzweig, sons Max, Zack and Gregg, daughter Tanya, daughter-in-law Jessica Marrero, grandsons Theo and Sam and nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends in their home Saturday, June 15th from 2-7, 304 Dunrovin La. Rochester, NY 14618.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Polycystic Kidney Disease Foundation.
