Joe spent over 47 years in the printing industry. He was fondly referred to as “Hollywood” by his co-workers. He took great pride in his work.
When he wasn’t working, he loved to ride his Harley with his wife, anything trivia, yahtzee, bocce, cooking on his weber grill, and watching shows with his wife as they did almost everything together. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and of course spoiling them. He was an extremely funny man; his sense of humor was something you either got or didn’t. If you did, you would laugh for hours.
Please share your fond memories of Joe. He will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure to know him.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
My heart goes out to you, I’m so, so sorry. I know he will be missed. Marge Lesnick

We loved Uncle Joe so much! I have so many fond memories of him as a child. One of my earliest was driving around with him in his orange corvette. I thought he was so cool! When I got older he took us on rides around the block on his Harley. It felt like 100 miles per hour, but in reality it was probably 25 mph max! And I was so happy that my kids got to ride on the back of his bike a couple of years ago and got to experience the same thrill. He will forever be in our hearts. I hope the pain lessens over time. He’s smiling down on us!
Kelli,
I have such a hard time with words at a time like this. I hope you know how incredibly
sorry we are for your loss. I hope you can find some comfort in knowing so many others
care and we are all keeping you in our thoughts and prayers during your time of sadness
and loss. I am here if you want to talk. God bless and be with you.
Rode with Joe years ago with the Avon HOG group. Always a fun guy. May he rest in peace!
I am heartbroken over Uncle Joe’s death. He was also my godfather – I can still see the picture in my head of him holding me on my Christening day. Some of the same memories as Teri – the corvette and the Harley rides. I remember he introduced me to West Side Story. He drove the limo for me and my friends for prom. He was so very funny and loving. He will be terribly missed. I hope you feel him around you always.
Kelli and family, So very sorry to hear about Joe. I worked with Joe since 1973 at Case Hoyt. We started together and carried on later to work together at Hammer. Many memories of Joe at work and hanging out at the bars with other Case Hoyters. Glad I was able to hug Joe goodbye when I retired in February. My heart goes out to You.
It’s with a heavy heart hearing of Joe’s passing. I remember Joe not only from Case Hoyt but for his younger years when I hung around and went to grammar school with Charlie his older brother. We often chatted about our growing up in Rochester’s 18 Ward. I wish Angie, Charlie, Vinny and Joe’s families my heart felt condolences. May he Rest In Peace
