Greece NY: Age 74, succumbed on February 8, 2016 after a long battle with lung cancer. Survived by wife of 51 years, Angela (Tomasso); children, Stephanie (Rufus) Brey, Terri (Charlie) Avallone, Carrie Gumina; grandchildren, Sarah Gumina, Courtney Whitney, Joey and Rocky Brey; brother, Richard (Rosemary) Gumina. Also survived by brother-in-law, Ray; sisters-in-law, Pat, Joanne, Dorothy, MaryAnn and Ellen; special aunt, Louise; many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents, Carrie and Greg Gumina; brothers. His Memorial Mass will be Celebrated Saturday, February 13th 11 A.M. at St. Charles Borromeo Church.

I was sorry to learn of Joe’s passing. I knew him in the late 1950’s and we dated briefly. He was very dear to me at that time. I was happy to learn that he had such a full life and loving family. Please accept my condolences.
