Kami Lynn Leakey, resident of Rochester, NY, formerly of Bradford Pennsylvania passed away on March 7, 2018 at the age of 38. Kami was a loving mother of two daughters, Patience and Zyaida, in which she loved to spend quality time with. Kami was fortunate to find her soulmate, Stan Lewis with whom she loved dearly. Kami has many friends that she enjoyed spending time with as well. Kami was also student at Monroe Community College where she studied Human Services. Kami had a passion for working with women in her community and was a case manager for over 5 years at Spiritus Christi-Jennifer House. Kami loved animals, specifically, her dog “Oreo”. One of Kami’s favorite hobbies included practicing cosmetology and hair styling.
Kami is survived by her grandmother- Fran Williams, her mother-Diane Cole, stepfather- Lawrence Perry, brother- Lucas Williams, daughters- Patience and Zyaida Wolfe, fiancée- Stan Lewis. Kami is predeceased by grandfather- James Williams. She will be sadly missed by many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. Celebration of Life services will be held for Kami on March 24th, 2018 from 1:30p-3:30p at Spiritus Christi Church located at 121 N. Fitzhugh Street Rochester, NY 14614. Gathering with fellowship and food to follow located in the Nielsen Room of the church. Please have all flower donations sent to the church by March 23, 2018.

May God’s peace rest upon the hearts of Kami’s loved ones. Kami possessed an infectious laugh and a smile that could could turn anyone’s frown upside down. She had the voice of a songbird and a heart as big as the ocean. Laughter and love was added abundantly to my life because Kami was in it! No one could ever replace who was to me or make a cup of coffee like she did. I love you Kamster!

Kami your struggles are done and your life has just begun.
Such a fighter you were, not only in your own life but in the lives of others. My thoughts and prayers go out to your loved ones. You will be sorely missed.
I met Kami a few years ago and she was a lovely person and very sweet she will truly be missed love u kami
Kami I love you. And I thank you for always being there for me and believing in me. we didn’t see each other all the time or spend a lot of time together but I will always remember the conversations that we have had and the time that we have spent you are always somebody I could come too if I needed and for that I am forever grateful rest in heaven.
