My heart is broken at the loss of my wonderful friend and colleague of over 30 years !!! I could fill this page with a million memories we shared …. both nursing and personal experiences we had together ! Kathy was so much more than anyone could imagine.. .. .. she was supportive, loyal, kind and generous. Her patients LOVED her ! She loved and cared about them right back !! Kathy and I were on a ” geriatric team” together and wow could I tell you some hilarious and touching stories !! We shared our family trials and successes with each other. Kathy cared for my Uncle and my mom for a while after she retired , and they both loved her as well ;my son Steve was always close to her heart , and he is sad to hear of her passing. Kathy joined me on a ” road trip” to see my sister in New Jersey and shared about the Holy cards in her shoes ;my sister never forgot that !! As I said , I could go on and on and on.Barb, Mary Beth, Annie and Dick and kids ,my most sincere sympathy at the loss of this precious sister and aunt. It was my honor and privilege to be her friend for all this time, and I will miss her all the days of my life !!!!! May God Bless and keep all of you and may He hold Kathy close to His Sacred Heart always !
    With Much Love……. Cathie Donner

I am so lucky to have known her. She was the best nurse and coworker. I can’t help but smile when I think of her. She had the best dry sense of humor. We had great times at Park Ridge. I am very sad and may God bless her.
