Kathleen “Kathy” A. Fitzwater  - Rochester Cremation

Rochester, NY, March 22, 2024 At age 72, Kathy passed surrounded by her loving family in her daughter’s home. Kathy is predeceased by her husband and love of her life, Franklin Fitzwater; parents, Eugene and Lillian (Dodson) Warney; siblings, Eugene (Genie) Warney, Charles (Charlie) Warney, and Helen (Warney) LaVare. She is survived by her children Katey (Fitzwater) Testa and Franklin Fitzwater Jr.; her siblings, Wayne Warney, Darlene (Warney) Ranous, and Carol (Warney) Hauck; 9 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; other loving family and friends.

Kathy was a homemaker who worked to raise her children and dote on her grandchildren and great-grandchild. She loved spoiling Pongo, Manson, Gizmo, Daisy, and Storm (her grand-puppies and kitties). Kathy was an enthusiastic card player known to play Canasta and Eucere with her friends at Linden Knoll Apartments.

Thank you to Nurse Heather and Hospice Care for your compassionate care. Kathy was blessed with many wonderful close friends. The family would like to Thank you for all the support you have given her and our family members.

Kathy’s Funeral will be held Tuesday, April 2nd, at 10:00 AM at Riverside Cemetery, 2650 Lake Avenue, Rochester, NY 14612. Her life will be celebrated after the funeral service at Goodwin Lodge (@ Hafner Park, 3645 Lake Road, Clarkson, NY 14420).
