ROCHESTER – Kathleen went to our Lord on Thursday, October 13, 2022; at the age of 76. She is now dancing in heaven, with the love of her life, Thomas G. Petix. She was a loving mother, sister, aunt, caring grandmother, and devoted wife. She was a great friend to many.
During her lifetime she enjoyed animals, the holidays and gardening. Predeceased by her loving parents, Jane & Bud Messenger; husband, Thomas G. Petix; and grandson, Nicholas W. Fleming. Survived by her daughter, Tammy (Vern Fleming); son, Thomas; sister, Debbie Ogletree; grandchildren: Andrew (Angela), Jennifer (Darrell) & Katelyn; as well as, great grandchildren: Nicholas, Olivia, Derrick & Analee; and nieces & nephews, all of whom she loved very much.
She is in God’s loving arms. A special thanks to the Palliative Care Team at Unity and the Care Team at Hildebrandt Hospice.
Kathleen’s visitation will be held on Thursday, October 27th from 3pm-5pm with her remembrance service at 5pm at Rochester Cremation, 1118 Long Pond Road Greece, NY 14626 (South of Maiden Lane).
