Kathryn Jenkins - Webster, NY - Rochester Cremation

Webster, NY:  Thursday, February 28, 2019 at age 78. She parted peacefully with her family at her side. Predeceased by her Mother Margaret and Brother John R. Baug Jr. Survived by her husband of 52 years, Charles, daughters Cheryl (Paul) Rose, Laurie (Phil) Melone, son Mark (Denise) Jenkins. 7 Grandchildren, one Great Grandson.

Kathy was born in Rochester, New York on June 17; 1940. She graduated from St. John Evangelist Elementary school and attended East High school. Graduated East High school on June 19, 1959. Was employed at Eastman Kodak for 16 years in the Photography and Modeling department. Raise our 3 children, Cheryl, Laurie and Mark. Attended all their school functions and participated in school events. Kathy was the ultimate home maker. She supported all our children, cooked, cleaned, attended school functions and maintained the house. One of her favorite activities was baking. She perfected Apple Crisp pie and won many contests in baking it. Moved from her home on Belgard Street in Rochester to live in Webster. She enjoyed the home of her dreams. She also worked in retail stores and house cleaning activities. Loved to travel and was able to go to England, France and Hawaii. Belonged to the Beta Sigma Phi sorority for over 20 years. Participated in many bunko parties and activities. She loved to travel in the RV and went around the United States after Chuck retired. Settled in Plant City Florida, the Home of the Strawberry Festival. Worked at the St. Clements Straw berry Festival booth and church for 15 years. Was one of the Strawberry Girls at the Festival. Returned to Webster to be with her family in 2013 and lived one street from her old home on Apple Orchard Lane. Kathy also volunteered at the Antique Boat Museum in Clayton, for 20 years. Kathy was a St. Lawrence River Rat. Loved RVing there summers and partook in fishing, boating and being on the river. Loved flowers and had an array of iris and 4 O’ Clocks at the river. She will be missed greatly by her family and many friends.

Visiting hours are on March 16, 2019 from 10 to 12 followed by Memorial and closing prayers. Meet at White Haven Memorial Park All Seasons Chapel, 210 Marsh Road, Pittsford, NY.

    Chuckie and Family,
    So sorry to hear of Kathy’s passing. You and Kathy were great river neighbors and showed us great hospitality when we came to visit you in Florida
