Kenneth A. Gay passed away 8/24/2021 after a long illness. Ken was 80 and a long-time resident of Hamlin, NY. He is predeceased by his parents Alfred and Bessie Gay, his sisters Marjorie and Betty, his brothers Alfred, Donald, and Robert, and by his son Timothy J.MacDonald.
Ken is survived by his brothers, Kevin, John and Chuck Gay, daughters Theresa Tangry and Karen MacDonald, sons Kenny Macdonald, Keith Gay and stepson Danny Everett. Also survived by grandchildren Lindsay McDermott, Andrew McDermott, Lexi Gay and Juno Tangry; Great granddaughter Aurora Penny-Charette and his faithful dog of 12 years, Bear.
Ken served in the Army from 1958 to 1962. He retired from a long career in Heating and Cooling, was a volunteer Fireman in Hamlin NY and a big Bills fan.
Per Ken’s request, there will be no service.
You are an amazing daughtse Theresa and I know you made your Dad’s life how much more wonderful. I can see what a great person he was and how he passed on so so much as himself to you and your family. So glad we got to spend time with you all and with Aurora. I’m SO sorry for your loss. He lives on in you and your family.
