Krystall Diamond

Cremation

Rochester, NY: October 2 1955 – February 12 2023

Krystall, who has brightened so many lives, was greeted by her father, Charles N Diamond and her brothers, Nicholas Diamond (Mary) and Peter Diamond (Lynn & PJ) at heaven’s gate as we sat by her side.

Krystall is survived by her children, Michael S Maliarakis, and Alexandra Z Durfee (Andrew) , her siblings, Charles “Dino” Diamond (Natasha, Dino, Nicolette & Saige) & Georgia Diamond (Yianni, Dino, & Toula), Grandchild Zoe Durfee, Granddog Archie Durfee, Godchild Morgan, and mother Alexandra Diamond. As well as many other wonderful family and friends.

Krystall had many adventures in life. She won awards for her theater makeup from the thespian society, was an active member of the American sewers guild, a member of GEVA and much more.

She made many amazing friends during her work for the DMV and her many years working at Family Court.

She enjoyed creating may things (especially sewing), American Girl dolls, hosting themed parties such as the royal wedding, and preforming acts of kindness.

Her favorite way of spending time was taking Zoe to Cape Cod, and taking Archie to Dunkin.

Memorial services will be on held Friday, February 17, 2023 with a Greek Orthodox service starting at 11am followed by light refreshments and a sharing of memories until 4 pm.  It will take place at The Webster Arboretum Lodge at 1700 Schlegel, Webster, NY 14580

Please perform an act of kindness in her memory.

Kystall’s work in Monroe County Family Court was legend. No one worked harder or was more concerned for the parents and children who appeared in court. For many years we worked together, shared our lives and became friends. I will miss her.
My deepest condolences to Alex and Michael the Kystall’s entire family.
