Lela is survived by her children, Maquicha Ford-Stevens (Roosevelt Kinney), Jeremy Edwards (Amanda Torres), James Battles (Shannon Knight) & Juanita McKnight; grandchildren, Tyrece Bryant, Robert, Naszire & Shazire Kinney, Jeremy Edwards, Jr., Maranjaliz Torres, Korryn & Taylia Battles, Kimberly Knight & Jaymere Singletary; sister, Linda Stevens. She is predeceased by her brother, Dennis Stevens; sister, Brenda Tucker; mother, Aramentha Marie Stevens & father, Carl Alexander.
Lela enjoyed latch hook rugging, playing spades, cooking and mostly enjoyed gathering the family.
