Leonard R. Bauer, 90, born March 3, 1929 in Minatare, Nebraska, died peacefully March 22, 2019, in Hamlin, NY, surrounded by his loving family. Lenny is survived by his sons, James Bauer and Dennis (Barbara) Bauer. Grandchildren, Jessica (Brian Sams) Bauer, Amy (Mike) Prate, Jeremy(Jenna) Bauer, Tanner Bauer, Dalton Youngman, Trinity, Connor, Wade and Wyatt Dziedzic. Great grandchildren, David and Elizabeth Prate, Caden Bauer. He is also survived by his brother Willard Bauer and sister MaryAnne Heinz, sisters-in-law, Helen Bauer, Joan Bauer, Mary Stagnitto, Loretta Periera, Rita Nalin, Linda (Tim) Slaybaugh, many nieces and nephews.
Lenny was a Navy Veteran of the Korean War and a member of the IBEW Local 86.
He was predeceased by his wife, Virgina, daughter Beth, daughter-in-law Dee, father Nicholas Bauer, Mother and Stepfather, Emilia (Burbach) and Carl Graff, brothers George and Harvey Bauer, Sister-in-law Ester Bauer, mother-in-law- Leonora Hoyt, Brothers-in-law Frank Stagnitto, Lyn Heinz, John Periera, Joe Nunes, Jim Nunes.
