Lisa Ann Keukelaar (Pierce) was born on June 21, 1968 in Radford, VA and passed away on February 21, 2021 in Penfield, NY. Lisa was kind, compassionate and always willing to help others. She was an avid reader who loved to travel anywhere it was warm. An ideal day would be spent in the sun by the water with a good book. She was a life-long Penn State and Eagles fan. You would find her on game days, hat turned back, jersey on and cheering the Nittany Lions or Eagles. Lisa was an amazing cook who had a passion for entertaining, which brought her to Sodus Point to manage the Mississippi Queen. From there she developed a love of Lake Ontario and boating. A few years later, Lisa and her husband owned and operated Cinelli’s Restaurant in Sodus, NY. Every Christmas Lisa would spend days making a wide variety of delicious Christmas cookies which she enjoyed sharing with loved ones in the most stunning presentations. She worked for years in special education and was loved by staff and students. She had an amazing ability to connect to people with special needs and adored her cousin Edward. Lisa cherished her pets, especially Tochee who left a void in her heart when she passed. She was a talented writer and wrote the most beautiful poems for her Goddaughter, Autumn. Most of all, Lisa loved her family and they loved her.
She is predeceased by her Father, John Edward Pierce; maternal grandparents, Floyd and Anna Slamp; paternal grandparents, Baxter and Ruth Pierce. She is survived by her loving parents, Susan and Vincent Valeriano; step-mother, Zane; three sisters, Amanda, Rebecca (Derek) and Michelle (Greg); two step-brothers, Vince (Elise) Valeriano and Tom Lincoln; Goddaughter, Autumn; her husband of 24 years, Neil; mother-in-law, Patricia; several nieces and nephews; many cousins; her beloved cat, Guido; and extended family including, The Primaveras and Bobos.
