Louise “Weezie” Cocilovo (LaVerde) (Cammarata)

September 6, 2022:  Louise passed away suddenly but peacefully, just as she prayed for, at The Wegman Family Cottages at Park Ridge Living Center. Although her death was sudden, she was fighting fiercely and tirelessly with COPD and CHF.

Louise is predeceased by her parents Bessy and Russell Cammarata and former husband and father of her children, Louis Cocilova.

She is survived by her husband Charles LaVerde, sons, Alan and Russell Cocilovo, daughter and son in law, Missie and Jim Montgomery, grandsons, Alan (Dawnta) Cocilova, Jimmy (Casey) Montgomery and Jake (Danielle Miller) Montgomery, great granddaughters, Cienna and Braelyn Cocilova and great grandsons Elijah and Maddox Montgomery. Brother, Sal (Patty), Cammarata, sister in law, Linda Herman and many dear and special friends.

Prior to living at The Wegman Family Cottages Louise lived independently with the help of her dedicated caregivers; Suzie, Donna and Starr.

The family would like to thank them as well as some special staff at The Wegman Family Cottages who made her feel safe and brought her some joy; Lawrence (RN), Shanndell  (LPN), Amanda (LPN) and CNA’s Millie, Thyda, Kristen, Joanna and Annissia.

There will be no funeral or memorial service but instead our family asks that you do something kind for someone in memory of our loved one!
