Rochester, NY – March 30, 2023, at age 83. Margaret is predeceased by her husbands, Edgar Curtis, Robert Steger, former spouse Loyal VanDyke, and granddaughter Amanda Gibson. She is survived by her children Lisa Pfeifer, Loyal Christopher (Jackie) VanDyke, Michele (Tom) Gibson, Michael VanDyke and stepchildren Kathleen Dzula, Michael (Amy) Steger, Charlene (Daniel) Babcock, and Scott (Bernice) Curtis; 16 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Margaret grew up in Lowville, N.Y. and moved to Rochester to continue her education. She retired from Xerox and went on to enjoy nearly 30 years of retirement. One of her main loves was relaxing at her lake cottage with family. She enjoyed cribbage, croquet, bowling, and spending time with family.
Margaret’s Memorial Mass will be held Tuesday, April 4th, 10:00 AM at St. John Evangelist Church, 2400 West Ridge Road, Rochester (Greece) NY 14626. Interment at White Haven immediately following the services.
