Webster: Sunday, Oct. 8, 2023 at age 92. Predeceased by her husband Harold. Survived by her children Patricia (Dave) Vanable, Karen (Erwin) Smith, Chris King, Laurie Wilson and step-son Steven (Jean) King; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Margaret enjoyed traveling, playing euchre and bingo with her friends, crossword puzzles, mystery novels, watching golf, tennis, Jeopardy and the Buffalo Bills, and spending quality time with her family.
She graduated from SUNY Geneseo and taught elementary school at School #28 for a few years before raising a family. She later worked as a librarian for Longridge elementary school in Greece.
Instead of calling hours or visitation, Margaret just wanted a small get-together with family and close friends.

I fondly remember Friday breakfast at the Rail Diner on Ridge Rd. with your mom and dad. After your dad’s passing, Margaret came alone. I, on occasion sat with her and we would talk. Such a sweet and caring person. May she rest in peace.
