Deepest condolences to the family. I had the pleasure of meeting Meg through her amazing daughter, Jenney, that I grew up with. I always admired the relationship Jenney had with her mother, and Meg certainly did a great job in raising her and making her feel so loved and secured. That love and dedication carried through as a grandmother with Jenney’s daughter, Kimberly and it was evident they were all so close and such a strong unit that loved each other and made really great memories together. Meg will absolutely be missed and always remembered.

Many many condolences. Grandma Meg has ALWAYS been the sweetest. I met her through her daughter Jenn. Our kiddos attended preschool together and became bestfriends. that’s how we came to know her. Grandma Meg has the purest of hearts and always wore a smile even when she was in pain. She adored her grand baby Kim. And it was always a joy to see Meg pushing and fighting and spreading love. She has such a strong daughter who I know will always honor her mama. I’m going to miss her sweet face, delightful hugs and her laugh. We love you Grandma Meg. Kimbo and Jenn we love yall. Always have always will and our prayers and positive thoughts, we send your way. What a sweet soul she was! Afflicted most of her life with challenges most of us would find unbearable, she continually radiated optimism and cheer. My dearest cousin, Meg. She will long be remembered with joy and delight!

“O my God! This is Thy handmaiden and the daughter of Thy handmaiden who hath believed in Thee and in Thy signs, and set her face towards Thee, wholly detached from all except Thee. Thou art, verily, of those who show mercy the most merciful.
“Deal with her, O Thou Who forgivest the sins of men and concealest their faults, as beseemeth the heaven of Thy bounty and the ocean of Thy grace. Grant her admission within the precincts of Thy transcendent mercy that was before the foundation of earth and heaven. There is no God but Thee, the Ever-Forgiving, the Most Generous.”

Meg was dealt a challenging hand if life, starting at birth. Yet, I never heard her complain, even when I last saw her at the family reunion in Rochester in 2023 when she was suffering in the advanced stages of cancer. I always admired her fortitude, resilience and exceptional kindness. I know her family, friends and relatives like me will dearly miss her. We can honor Meg by trying to mimic her indomitable spirit and beautiful soul. May she rest in peace!🙏
